The general thought surrounding the Sims community is that FreeTime is the last expansion pack for The Sims 2, ready for The Sims 3 to come into place. However, the author of Prima's FreeTime Strategy Guide has thrown a spanner in the works; he says that FreeTime "is not (unless something big has changed) the last expansion pack", which he posted on Prima's official forums.
This, of course, should be taken with a pinch of salt until EA announces anything, but if this is the case, could we be seeing a final Makin' Magic-style expansion? Or a Superstar remake? For now all we can do is speculate!
