In the second expansion pack to The Sims 2, your Sims are hitting the town!
Take your Sims to the swanky new shops in the new Downtown area, or let them dance the night away at a thumping night club. Take the family down to the bowling alley for family fun, or take a special someone to a posh restaurant for a romantic candle-lit dinner. Bring on the night!
Your Sims romantic attraction is now based on their zodiac sign, personality and aspirations. Will their personalities click or clash? It could be the beginning of a stormy affair or a dating disaster! Let your Sim choose their date destination carefully, and hope it goes without any trouble. New interactions include a longing gaze, slow dance or a dramatic dip kiss. Depending if the date succeeds or fails, your Sims might be surprised with a romantic gift or receive the ultimate hate letter!
Nightlife brings a new Aspiration for your Sims, the Pleasure Seeker.Delight these Sims in all the enjoyable sides of life; everything from great dates to crazy parties, fine dinners to hanging in the hot tub. Be aware that pleasure seeking Sims fear anything that is painful, embarrassing or an effort.
So what can you find and build in the new Downtown areas? There's now somewhere to cater for every mood your Sim could be in. Now they can chill out at mellow lounges, dance the night away at nightclubs, enjoy candlelight dinners at fine restaurants or hit the bowling alley with the guys and become the ultimate king of the pins.
Nightlife includes over 125 new items! Now you can entertain your Sims with the ultimate DJ station, take photographs with the all new photo booth, test your Sims singing skills on the karaoke machine and a whole lot more! Also, keep an eye out for exotic new Sims to mingle or date with including the feared vampires, not-so-feared hot waiters and others, on top of the aliens and zombies already in the game!
